What data we collect

When you use FIXT, we may collect:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Home address and property details
• Photos you upload for fault diagnosis
• Payment information (processed securely via Stripe — we do not store card details)
• Location data (when you enable GPS tracking during a job)
• Device information and usage data

For Pros, we also collect trade qualifications, DBS check information, and bank account details (via Stripe Connect — we do not store these directly).

How we use your data

• To provide and improve the FIXT platform
• To match customers with suitable tradespeople
• To process payments and payouts
• To send job updates and notifications
• To power our AI fault diagnosis features
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud

AI and automated processing

FIXT uses artificial intelligence to analyse photos and descriptions of property faults. When you submit a fault report, your data (including photos) is processed by our AI pipeline. You can withdraw consent for AI processing at any time by contacting us.

Data sharing

We share your data with: Stripe (payments), Bubble.io (platform), Make.com (automation), OpenAI (AI diagnosis), OneSignal (push notifications), and Twilio (SMS). We do not sell your personal data.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Booking and payment data is retained for 6 years to comply with financial regulations. You can request deletion at any time.

Your rights
